About Me
Space engineer, software developer, adventure seeker, and aspiring writer

Bio
I am a space engineer, currently in a long-term relationship with space software, specializing in orbital mechanics and spacecraft systems. My work spans spacecraft simulations, on-board satellite software, and ground segment systems. Fun facts: there's a satellite in orbit right now that adds my name to every packet it sends, and I was one of the final candidates for a space mission that would have sent me to the ISS. I've been orbiting the space industry for a while now, and I don't plan on re-entering anytime soon.
At the moment I'm working on a Flight Dynamics tool of my own, a project I started when I launched my space start-up, Orbyte. Curious? You can find traces of it in my MSc thesis. On the side, I freelance as a software developer, taking on projects that actually excite me, while still trying (and failing) to balance it all with my personal obsessions.
When I'm not coding or wrangling satellites, you'll probably find me writing, lifting heavy objects, or won't find me at all because I'll be out doing something that has a chance of killing me. I've been practicing Muay Thai for 10+ years (including time in the ring), tearing through the roads on my motorcycle (or crashing it, which gave me a visible scar on my face), brewing my own mead (not poisonous!), LARPing (as a gentleman thief), conquering board games (also chess and poker), camping deep in the woods, hosting far too many BBQs, obsessing over coffee beans, learning to play the drums, and listening to an unhealthy amount of Nightwish.
If you've read this far, first of all, congratulations, and secondly, why? If you want to reach out, all my contacts are below anyways.
